Communications Liaison

Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak

As the Communications Liaison, it is important that I keep our stakeholders informed about what is going on at the firm. Stakeholders include business partners, clients, and anyone in the community who wants to know what we do at Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak.

Press Releases

The featured press release reports on the opening of our new satellite office in Altoona, PA. Press Releases are published on SGY's website under "Press releases".

ECN Monthly Newsletter

Once a month, we will send out the ECN (Elder Care Navigation) newsletter. This newsletter informs people who are ECN clients of important information, as well as general updates on the firm. In the example attached, we remind our clients to get important tax forms submitted, while also informing them about local support groups and the benefits of participating. This newsletter is sent out through email and through regular mail.

LinkedIn Posts

I do not run the LinkedIn Account for the firm, but we decided that members of our team should become "thought leaders" in their industry. I run the LinkedIn accounts of three people in the firm. I post 2-4 times a month with updates regarding them, and other posts relevant to the firm.

"Longest Day" Video

We work hard with the Alzheimer's Association to meet the needs of some of our clients with Dementia. Every year on the summer solstice, the Alzheimer's Association observes the Longest Day. The Longest Day is meant to shine the light on the darkness of dementia, and the
Alzheimer's Association honors the day by fundraising and spreading awareness. This video that I created shows an interview with one of our clients whose wife has Alzheimer's dementia and let him share his story.

Public Relations Intern

The Brand Guild

During my final semester of college, I completed an internship at The Brand Guild, a public relations agency based out of Washington D.C. I assisted with public relations work for the Real Estate and New Economy (Start-up) teams.

Muck Rack

While working with the Real Estate and New Economy teams, I used Muck Rack to develop media lists of journalists to include in our PR campaigns. I also used Muck Rack for Media Monitoring, to see who published our pitches and to see who is talking out our client.

Pitching journalists

While working at The Brand Guild, I wrote pitches to send to journalists about our clients. The pitches covered events that took place (this was for real estate clients), encouraging them to interview them for a story or a podcast, or to cover an important story regarding our client.

This story I pitched for our client The Yards, a mixed-use real estate complex, got picked up by multiple local news outlets, including the Washington Post

Writing interview guides

When our client would get an interview with a journalist, we would write interview guides to help them prepare for the interview. The interview guides provided our client with possible questions was to give our client responses to potential questions that they could be asked during the interview.
